<Alt-O> activates the Create Options Assistant. This assistant helps you create options (multiple choice) and optional (keep it or delete it) text in your document. The steps are simple. Highlight the block and press <Alt-O> and follow the prompts. (If you are creating options -- multiple choice -- text, be sure you have indicated the choices with a slash '/' between the choices.

You will be asked whether you want to add a question or prompts to help guide the end user to the correct response. You will be asked if you wish to add a 'groupname' to tie your answer to other conditional text elsewhere in the document.

At all stages, the conditional text block is 'plain-text.' That means that if you wish to change a prompt, add additional text, extend the scope of the block, or whatever, in the master template, just type those changes freehand. The block was never converted. No special fields that you have to be aware of were inserted. (All Pathagoras did was add very quickly the very characters indicating boundaries, prompts and a groupname that you could have easily manually typed. (Again, that's the beauty of plain text.)
