TEXT SCRAMBLING in TRIAL VERSION OUTPUT! In evaluation mode, Help+Manual will scramble individual characters in random words in your published output files. This is a limitation of the free trial version. This help system was created with an evaluation copy of Help+Manual.

 

   While you can use them with 'stand-alone' <<*Options* blocks, they are designed for use with <<*Options* calls triggered by an <<*AskOptions* call when the individual <<*Options* blocks require different responses, one or more with 'and' or 'or' connectors.

   <<*AskOptions*!colors!red/blue/green/yellow*>>

 

   <<*Options(and)*!colors!*apples/blueberries/grapes/bananas>>.

   When processed, the user selects one or more from the AskOptions prompts. Pathagoras then returns the appropriate fruit with commas appropriately inserted and an 'and' between the penultimate and final choice.

 

New in 2022: You can change the 'and' and 'or' connector words to almost any language. Just make sure you have inserted the appropriate 'And' and 'Or' words in the Local Settings Section. (Pathagoras Features |All Settings| Miscellaneous. Click the 'Local Settings' button. Make and save the appropriate changes.
