Getting rid of bracketed text in assembled document

Q. If I want the document to get rid of all bracketed items that I don't have answers for in my assembled document, how do I do that?
A.  In the upper right quadrant of the Instant Database screen (just beneath the 'Existing Records' dropdown list) is a checkbox that is labelled "Delete Blank". That tells Pathagoras to do exactly what you are asking. (To make the choice 'sticky' -- so it defaults to always 'checked' or 'not checked', hold down your shift key and you are clicking the checkbox.)
